The Valkyries are a dragon boat team dedicated to empowering themselves, raising awareness for social and environmental justice, and, of course, winning the Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race! inspired by the fierce Viking warriors of Norse mythology, we support each other in holistic well-being, community engagement, and strive to act from our highest selves—Valhalla—by paddling together toward a better world for all.

The Valkyries are a team of women and non-binary paddlers. We are proudly trans-inclusive, and enthusiastically support our Queer team members and wider Queer community.
