The Dragon Guardians are high school students from Ida B Wells High School . Paddlers range in age from 15-18 and the team is open to any Ida B Wells students.

Register for the 2026 Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race. We have Mixed, Women’s, and Open Divisions for Local, Out-of-Area, and Youth teams.

Our annual traditional-style dragon boat race held during the Portland Rose Festival. Free to the public. Come and enjoy an exciting weekend of Dragon Boat Races and local food and shopping vendors.
