Race Weekend | June 6-7, 2026 | South Hawthorne Waterfront Park, Portland Oregon
Our annual traditional-style dragon boat race held during the Portland Rose Festival. Free to the public. Come and enjoy an exciting weekend of Dragon Boat Races and local food and shopping vendors.

We are using a customized registration process for 2026 that will be new to all of us. Documentation for this new process will be available soon.

    • 2026 Adult Online Waiver – This is the preferred method for team members to complete waivers

      For 2025 Minor or Ward Waiver, please contact your team captain.
    • 2026 Editable PKSCA Final Waiver – Please use the online system in most cases this season to help alleviate the paperwork involved in paper waivers.
      • The above waiver is a fillable PDF. Once downloaded and opened in Adobe Reader, all of the form fields at the bottom, except for the signature lines, can be filled in on a computer and then printed. It makes the printing more legible than writing by hand.

2026 PKSCA Application Requirements

Division Information

Teams can register for Women’s Division, Mixed Division, and Open Division.
Open to Local Teams and Out-of-Town Teams!

  • Our Divisions
    • Mixed division races with up to 10 male paddlers.
    • Women’s requires all female paddlers.
    • Open has no gender restrictions.

Teams can have up to 29 members.
A race is appproximately 500 meters
A race boat has a caller, flag catcher, 20 paddlers, and a tiller.

The Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Race uses the incredibly beautiful traditional-style dragon boats on the Willamette River!

All divisions will have to have at least 6 teams to compete.
Divisions will be identified by colored wristbands for race weekend


Registration Rate Information

For 2026 we are keeping the same registration rates as the past several years with a few discount options.

  • Our Rates
    • $1900 Local Team Full Registration
    • $1800 Early Bird – If Registered and Paid by January 25
    • $950 High School and Out-of-Town Registration

If your local team has not raced with us since 2019, please reach out to us and we’ll see if we can get approval for a special discount for 2026
